Updated Store Hours in response to COVID-19
These are interesting times we find ourselves in. Never could we have imagined that our Sunnyside Natural Market would be deemed an essential service due to a pandemic.
Thank you for your continued support, and please know we are committed to serving our community in the days and weeks ahead. It's not business as usual, but we're doing our best to ensure our shelves are stocked not only with just the staples. Sidewalk Citizen Bakery is baking fresh bread daily and is making the heavy rye that lasts for 10 days.
The deli is creating soups and stews that are a great family meal and can be frozen. We have the important comfort foods too, Sidewalk Citizen pastries, Made By Marcus Ice Cream, chips and snacks etc.
We’ve never been more proud of our teams in the store and at the bakery. Everyone has really stepped up and truly risen to the challenge of suddenly finding themselves on the front lines during these uncertain times. We are doing our best to keep as many employed as possible as thousands in the city have been laid off in the last couple of days.
We are temporarily changing our store hours to ensure our staff have as much time as possible for rest and self-care.
Effective immediately our daily store hours are now 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Once again, we have so much gratitude for your continued support and kindness. Stay tuned for some different grocery delivery options commencing next week.
Take care of yourselves and each other.
Pat, Patty, Aviv & Michal
Due to the rising concern re: the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, we want to update our customers on measures we’re taking to keep our community safe and healthy at this time.
With guidance from the current information available from Alberta Health Services, we have put in place extensive, preventative daily cleaning and disinfecting protocols within the store environment.
We are limiting non-essential employee travel within and outside of Canada.
We will continue to remind and monitor all staff in the practice of preventative measures in adherence to all policies set out by AHS and Health Canada.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding how Sunnyside Natural Market is responding to the COVID-19 virus, email email@example.com or call store owner Patty Nowlin @ 403.918.3163. We are grateful for our customers’ continued support in these uncertain times.
