Leffers Brothers Organics
Sweet, crisp, organic carrots.
After growing up farming with their parents, Howard and Cornelius Leffers took over the family farm in 1990, and decided to begin organic farming in 2002. Their farm is 500 acres, and each year they set aside at least 20 acres for carrots. The soil and climate of southern Alberta produces delicious carrots, and the Leffers Brothers have the crop to prove it. Each year they harvest their carrots as the temperatures begin to cool in late August and early September. The timing is perfect, and the organic carrots they send us every autumn are sweet and crisp.
